Can I use these lens with a DSLR camera?

Submitted by: utvolsforlife

I was wondering if I got a nice SLR digital camera if I could use these lens. Right now I have a minolta maxxum 70. The lens I want to use with the nice camera is a Quantaray Autofocus 70-300mm 1:4-5.6. If there is a camera I could possibly use the lens with, which one should I get?

Quantaray lenses are made for various cameras, so you will have to look at the lens and see which camera company it was built for.

If it is a lens that fits on a Nikon or Canon, it will NOT fit on your Minolta.

Best plan if you cannot find a designation on the lens, take it into Ritz camera and ask them. It is one of the lenses they sell and will know.

Any Minolta Maxxum AF lens will work with the current Sony DSLR cameras - A200, A300, A350, A700, A900.
